Director of the Renewable Department 

Our client is looking for a Director for the new Renewable Department 

We are looking for a Department Director to develop our new Renewables business segment. The candidate will have a solid background and track record within the energy markets and knowledge and understanding of renewables technologies.

The preferred permanent location is in Bergen of Norway.

 

Role & Responsibility

  • Lead Aragon’s Renewables Department and be a driver for the development of new activities, both technically and to do business development

  • Research, identify and implement entry into the new markets

Automation Engineering Manager

Our client is looking for an experienced automation engineering manager with a technical background in industrial automation systems. You will help build one of the first large scale European battery factories. Our client is committed to a fully green production process through using emission free energy sources for production and recycling. You and the team will play an important role in the transformation to a carbon free society

As an engineering manager, you will play a critical part in supporting and growing people in our Automation team. You will make sure they thrive in their roles and have access to all the tools, training and coaching they need. As somebody with a strong technical background, you will also help guide and shape the design of our solutions and be an important influencer in our technology and architecture choices. You will help us build a strong culture, facilitate technical delivery and work with us to continuously improve the way we work.

You will grow and guide a team of engineers through recruitment, coaching, mentoring, establishing healthy processes, and general support. Work towards ensuring the team is aligned on business needs, delivering the expected value. Be involved in forming the way we design and implement our systems, both through support and direct involvement in design decisions. Make sure our way of working and agile development practices are clear, modern and suited to bring out the best of the team. Be part of the Automation management team and cross-functional collaboration on business needs, deliverables, and culture. You will collaborate with other managers in software, material flow, electrical engineering, IT, and InfoSec. Work towards building a friendly, collaborative environment in line with the company culture. Learn what it takes to manufacture batteries, build big factories, as well as continue developing your organization management toolkit and technology knowledge.

Being part of the first production-grade lithium-ion battery in its new  factory. Stabilizing the equipment's and control systems  Making first data flow from the factory floor to upper level systems to turn into an operational digital twin. The person we are looking for is strongly goal oriented, curious and eager to learn. You love working with people and finding ways to grow a team and its people to make them thrive in the work place and to do better work. You are passionate about technology and should be able to reason about and influence the direction we’re going on an architectural level. You have a technical background in software and automation engineering. Relevant experience within the manufacturing industry is a plus.

The job is located in Stockholm with regular travel to Vasteras and Skellefteå.

Global Supply Chain Transformation Project

As Head of Global Supply Chain Transformation Project you will lead a highly prioritized transformation project and be the global leader in sustainable energy you will engage with stakeholders at top management level and use your talent for making an impact on the supply chain performance

You will plan and orchestrate the operations over strategic, tactical and operational levels, cover project portfolio planning, transport planning, production planning, supply planning and risk management. 

Play a key part in the Compass Project for transforming the way our client plans the supply chain. You will plan for optimising the total landed cost with a higher accuracy

Enable decision-making with higher speed integrate along with  plans with higher transparency

This transformation is first about people, then process and IT. The Compass project has high visibility and high expectations in the global supply chain and beyond.

 

Responsibilities


As Head of the Compass project, you will have the opportunity to make a direct impact on our clients performance, you will have significant exposure to the management team in Global Supply Chain. Your primary responsibilities will be:

 

  • Lead the transformation of Global Supply Chain through the implementation of integrated processes and tools

  • Facilitate project Steering Committees, project reviews with workstreams and project controlling in coordination with assigned Financial Business Partner

  • Engage with various functions on process re-design, competence development and change management

  • Lead the tool specification, evaluation and implementation as well as training and continuous improvement

  • Actively engage stakeholders across the value chain for buy-in through transparent, effective and timely communication

  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal IT resources and external service provider throughout the project life cycle

 

Competencies
 

  • Can engage and influence stakeholders throughout the global supply chain organisation

  • A hard-working and flexible attitude and able to both decide and execute independently

  • A convincing communicator who knows how to motivate project teams, which is key in this role

  • Able to handle multiple projects and activities simultaneously

  • A structured and pragmatic approach and can create an effective plan and keep tight deadlines

 

Qualifications

 

You should have the following qualifications:

 

  • Relevant university degree combined with 10+ years of experience from a similar position in operational supply chain and logistics 

  • Great project management skills and experience in running internal cross-functional projects. Experience with IT implementation is a plus.

  • User of advanced planning systems and ERP systems

  • Thorough understanding of supply chain processes and best practices

  • Cross-cultural awareness and experience from a global matrix organisation

  • Fluency in English, both verbally and in writing
